Melissa was finally 16; she's been waiting for her whole life for this moment. Her brother had also became a teen recently, so she was glad that both of them hit a milestone in their lives as Ivy will hit the big 13 the next year. She simply couldn't wait to celebrate this moment. However, Melissa was upset that her birthday had to fall on a weekday, but she was glad that school was out for the summer which helped her not feel as bad. Thoughts were racing through her mind such as being able to finally get her drivers license.
