Making new friends (Open)

After 5 long minutes of waiting in line, Josiah had finally managed to get his food. Now if only he could find a place to sit. He scanned the room for an empty table, but most were already taken. Everyone seemed to already have their group of friends while him, being the new kid, knew basically no one. He suddenly spotted a table with only one other person. It was as empty as he was going to find so he decided to walk over to it.  "Mind if I sit here?"

Claudia pulled smiled, "Take a seat."

She introduced herself. "Hi i'm Claudia Hills."

He gave the girl a dimpled smile before sitting down and setting his lunch tray on the table. "I'm Josiah." The boy introduced himself. "So, why are you sitting here by yourself?" She didn't look like the type who wouldn't have friends. If anything, she looked like one of those popular girls who were surrounded with friends,

"I'm just chilling. My friend Nigel was busy so he skipped lunch. I'm guessing your new here. Stay away from the drama starters. They think I'm a drama queen but they are the ones who are." Claudia warned Josiah

Josiah began picking at his food for a few seconds before deciding he wasn't all that hungry. The food on his plate didn't look too good and he would rather pretend he wasn't hungry than eat..whatever that was. "And who exactly are these drama starters " Josiah asked her, holding up air quotes as the words drama starters left his mouth. If he was to stay away from them, might as well know who they were
